Claudia Tornincasa can foretell the future, but she can never forget her past.
She's right where she wants to be: living in a picturesque resort, reading the stars for the rich and famous, and married to her handsome husband, Cooper. On the surface, she has it all. But for what seems an eternity, her heart has held a secret that won't let her go, and at forty-something, she senses time running out.
When her mother suffers a stroke and Claudia returns to her hometown, there's a sudden opportunity to visit the grave of her once true love and finally make peace with his loss. But to do so, she must find old friends who donít want to be found, and get them to relive a past they want to keep buried.
That she would experience an event so extraordinary that it would compel her to give anything to spend just one more minute with the love who died a lifetime ago is the one thing she could never have predicted.
Read Chapter One
Unfortunately, being able to predict the future and being able to control it are two entirely different things. I continue to struggle with the re-write of this novel.
